Stigmata: The Scar As Archive at Reference Point, London, UK - Publication Launch - 4th October
I’m participating in this new publication Stigmata: The Scar as Archive, edited by artist and publisher M. Lissoni, launching at Reference Point, London this October 4th! Elemental Poetics: Spellcasting for Reenchantment at UNIT/PITT, Vancouver, Canada - Workshop - 1st September
In conjunction with the exhibition to carve without cutting, myself and Gabi Dao are facilitating a workshop in the garden of UNIT/PITT. Elemental Poetics: Spellcasting for Re-Enchantment is an experimental writing, drawing and sensing workshop that explores poetry as a form of ‘spellcasting’ . The event includes dinner from local Palestinian kitchen Tamam and a walk to Linnea Beach to perform a ritual activating our featured ceramic work ‘mosquito girlfriend’. More info here.

to carve without cutting at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden & UNIT/PITT, Vancouver, Canada - Exhibition - 31st August to 28th September
Myself and artist Gabi Dao are collaborating in this special group exhibition  to carve without cutting at Dr.Sun Yat-Sen Classical Garden, located in Vancouver’s Chinatown. The show is curated by Asia Jong and in partnership with the artist-run space UNIT/PITT. Gabi and I made a new duo ceramic work ‘mosquito girlfriend,’ which is installed on a small island in the pond of the garden amongst koi fish, insects and visiting herons.... bzzzzz... bzzzzz... STIGMATA Cinema Club: On Transembodiment at Atlas Cinema, London - June 14th 2024
I will be screening my film A Fantastic Body (2024) alongside works by Clémentine Bedos, Rosa-Johan Uddoh, Yiling Zhao and David Leale, at STIGMATA Screening Club: On Transembodiment in Atlas Cinema; an experimental film cooperative in Loughborough Junction, London. The event is curated by M. Lissoni, as a part of the upcoming STIGMATA journal launching later this year. More info and tickets here. 

Artist in residence at EKWC, Oisterwijk, NL and the CBK I&V award - May 30th to August 20th 2024
Thrilled to announce I’ve been awarded the CBK I&V grant to support my upcoming artist residency at  EKWC in Oisterwijk this summer. I will be in residence at the EKWC from May 30th to August 20th, doing research and material exploration in ceramics and metal for a new sonic installation and performance work, with additional support from Sitchting Stokroos.

My film descending notes will screening at the Rencontres Internationales in Haus der Kulteren der Welt, Berlin in the video library of the festival. Initially commissioned and produced by Gasworks.

This is a night of performances and video installation, curated by Ratri Notosudirdjo, featuring work by myself, Gabi Dao, XIE3LLA and Shasti. I will be performing my text piece The Wind Unravels Us with a live lighting score, and screening my new film A Fantastic Body, initially commissioned by Ehrlich Steinberg.

We’ll Be Your Mirror, Condo: Ehrlich Steinberg, Herald St, London, UK - Group Exhibition - January 20th to February 17th
Thrilled to be in this group exhibition We’ll Be Your Mirror at Herald Street, London with Ehrlich Steinberg, LA, as a part of Condo 2024. The exhibition features my textiles work, alongside artists Markus Amm, Alexandra Bircken, Josh Brand, Beth Collar, Coleman Collins, Michael Dean, Trix & Robert Haussmann, Emi Mizukami, Joan Nelson, Joel Otterson and Jeffrey Stuker. A Cloud That Bites, Ehrlich Steinberg, Los Angeles, USA - Solo Exhibition - January 11th to February 17th 2024 
Announcing my first international solo exhibition in Los Angeles - A Cloud That Bites opens at Ehrlich Steinberg on Jan 11th and runs until Feb 17th. Featuring a newly commissioned multichannel video installation, sculpture, drawing, poetry and scent, with generous support from Mondriaan Fund and Amarte Fund.
