Parasitic Girl is a live poetry & video performance and 'meme diary' hosted from a personal laptop desktop. Poetry reading, digital archives and autobiographical notes are scrawled and clicked through a personal laptop; situating the performance as an attempt to articulate a poetics of touch, “spooky action at a distance", desire, repulsion and gender.

Carrying dandelions to keep them safe
Loving you in the fog, cold breath and I’m here
Loving you in all of the ways we exist for each other,
In all the ways we don’t exist for each together
Tell that to every girl who births a world
To make this one a little more hospitable.
Sensual communion is my new kink,
It’s sexy that everything is interconnected.
A soaked tangled mess,
Even if those tangles are broken and desire is a wrongish frame
Throwing itself against all the bodies
Trying to make peace, wanting themselves away.
Breathing makes me aware of how implicated we are in each other.
It’s something we do.
Upheaval is a phone conversation
It’s hard to connect with distance, but it’s true.
If the air gets too toxic, we will not survive.
This is also true.
